How to Enable Memberships Auto Renew with Stripe?

If your site is using stripe as the payment gateway, you can enable the auto renew so that members can opt in to automatically renew their memberships upon expiration. To enable auto renew, just follow these two steps:

1). Turn on the Recurring Payments module (if not already) by setting Enabled to true on https://www.yourdomain/settings/module/recurring_payments/#id_enabled. And set the setting Allow Auto Renewal to true https://www.yourdomain/settings/module/memberships/#id_autorenew.

2). Specify the image url to be used on the payment method add/update interface through the setting https://www.yourdomain/settings/site/global/#id_stripedataimage if you don't want to use the default image.

Once the setup is completed, a checkbox Allow Auto Renew will appear under the Payment Method on membership applications so users can select when joining or renewing their memberships (see the image below).

Members can also set up and manage auto renew from their profiles; they can update their credit card information or cancel their auto renew.
