This week, Tendenci CMS software updates for Version 5.0.73 are released and include new colors for Admin navigation menus, new permission options for users and members, and auto-completion of certain form information for membership applications and renewals. Themes
Admin Navigation Top Bar Menus have changed colors! To make it easier to identify your Tendenci version, we’ve added color identifiers to your Admin menus:
- Tendenci Enterprise Sites (custom designed by Schipul Technologies) will have a Dark blue Admin navigation menu
- Tendenci Community Sites (template-based with managed software and hosting services through Tendenci) now have a dark blue bar with aqua drop-down menus
Content Management Software
- The News Tab will now use custom label settings if changed
- Login is now required in order to view or print site contacts
Membership and Users
- Memberships can now be edited by users with optional permission settings (including expiration date, status, etc.)
- Membership applications are now pre-populated with first name, last name and email for non-admin logged-in users
- Membership renewal applications will auto-populate information from the original membership application
- Removed the membership payment method requirement, allowing Site Admins to add memberships for users at any time.
- The Group View and List pages now only display active members
- Users will now be automatically removed from privileged groups when membership expires
Business Directories
- Changed directory activate URL in the directory added noticed so that admins can click the link to activate
Plugins
- Added Plugin Manager Access to Site Admins Permissions so Admins can now also add plugins
- Added ordering option to category and building type pages in Architecture Projects plugin
- Videos Plugin now available for installation, for free, for all Tendenci sites
Custom Forms with Payments
- Form Entries Exports now include pricing and payment method
