Anhinga

Anhinga
This resembles the American Water Turkey, the difference being the pointed beak, the coloring and the feathering. The water turkey has a curved bill at the tip, just like its cousin the cormorant. It grabs its food in its mouth, whereas the Anhinga spears its food, then beats it to death(if it is not already dead from the spearing) so it can eat. Both birds dive for their food, and rarely do they come up where they went down.
