Your events calendar's default view is the monthly view:
For calendars that have too many events to display on a single date, Tendenci has a list view function to make it easier to see events.
Hover over the "Events" tab and select "Event View" or to the farthest side, next to the "Filter" dropdown, click on "List View".
The calendar will then switch to the weekly view:
You can switch back and forth between monthly and listed view by clicking either the "Month View" (above End Date) or "List View" (next to the filter option).
