Steps for Adding Users to User Groups
Step 1 - Visit the User Groups List on Your Site.
You can get there by clicking "Groups" under the "People" tab in the Superuser bar - or visit the URL yourdomain.com/groups
Step 2 - Navigate to the Group you want to add someone to and hover over the "Options" link. Click either "Add Myself to Group" to add yourself or "Add Member" to add someone else
Step 3 - Find the user you want to add in the list (or select multiple users by holding down Control and clicking multiple users) and click the arrow to move them from "Available Users" to "Chosen Users." Click Save to save the changes and add the person.
