When you are adding an image to your website page, it is important that you upload the image as opposed to cutting and pasting it from another source.

Why? Because when you cut and paste, you are bringing over the binary version of the image - a very large, raw data file that is used to render the image in the browser.

This will significantly slow down the page load speed for your site!

To add an image to your site, use the Insert/edit media button found on your editing toolbar.
