"PAIR used online crowdfunding to win a Houston Rockets Player for a year!"
Lloyd Jacobson, @HOUmanitarian, will interview Colleen Mayer, the Global Learners Program Manager at PAIR in a "fireside chat" format this month in celebration of Fall and the approaching holiday season.
This past spring, PAIR (Partnership for the Advancement and Immersion of Refugees) won the online competition to have the Houston Rocket's Jeremy Lin be their celeb supporter and a grant from the Jeremy Lin Foundation.
In order to win the competition, PAIR and 2 other Houston nonprofits rallied their communities and got them to "Like" them the most.
You'll have an opportunity to ask Colleen about PAIR's past campaign and what they did to get the win, and what PAIR has planned going forward working with Lin.
