The AANS/CNS Section on Tumors is a professional organization devoted to treatment and study of brain tumors.

The Section facilitates talks at national meetings, conducts its own Satellite Symposia, and institutes awards and grants.

Members conduct research surveys and national practice pattern studies. 

They also collect and disseminate information on clinical protocols, research funding opportunities, and fellowships in neurosurgical oncology.
